The redevelopment of rue Paré was intended to resolve existing configuration problems. The street was oversized and unsafe. The work consisted of narrowing the traffic lanes to improve pedestrian safety. The roadway, parking areas, crosswalks and sidewalks were made of prefabricated concrete paving stones incorporating several paving patterns. In addition, islands of plantations and optimal management of runoff water were integrated into the project. ALAIN CARRIER was commissioned to carry out the landscaping work. Our teams worked on the installation of the precast concrete paver as well as the granite paver. In addition, we carried out the plantings in bioretention and sodding. Our teams spent three months carrying out this project.
