In 2013, the Jean Coutu Group announced that it was leaving its Longueuil facilities to bring together its head office and distribution center under one roof in a new building located in Varennes. The offices have been designed around a three-storey atrium letting in as much light as possible. Focused on its staff, the company has planned the development of a cafeteria, an early childhood center, a gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool and the development of outdoor spaces. ALAIN CARRIER was mandated to carry out the landscaping work, including the revegetation of the parking lot by planting islands of greenery, the development of the roundabout located in front of the main entrance, the planting of alignments of shrubs, perennials and grasses, as well as tree planting and sodding throughout the project. The work lasted two months.
